Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan and Iolo Williams are back in Dorset to meet more of winter’s wondrous wildlife…

Across four nights this week, presenters Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan and Iolo Williams will beam live once again from RSPB Arne in Dorset to highlight the behaviours of some of the UK’s favourite critters as they navigate the season… “It’s a great place because of the diversity of habitats,” notes Chris. “It’s got everything: woodland, heathland, grassland and, of course, Poole Harbour, with its salt marsh and mud, and Brownsea Island and its lagoon. It’s incredibly diverse with a great range of species.” “The woodland should be fantastic now that the leaves have gone and it’s much easier to see some of the birds there,” enthuses Iolo. “You’ve got some really thick hedgerows, a great place to see firecrests in the winter – quite a scarce bird in the UK.…
