Pacific Palms in NSW is mostly known for its great waves and natural beauty, but a designer house at Boomerang Beach is taking the area’s allure in a new direction

To those in the know, the small coastal township of Pacific Palms in the mid-north coast of NSW, is a local piece of paradise. Just three hours’ drive from Sydney, seaside devotees have been booking in for generations, and it’s not hard to see why. To the east, it has sheltered coves amid kilometres of pristine sand and turquoise waters, and, to the north, rugged cliffs and verdant native flora flows through the expansive Booti Booti National Park. A haven of sleepy seaside enclaves make up the district known as Pacific Palms, with Blueys Beach, Elizabeth Beach, Smiths Lake, Sandbar and Tiona just a few of the relaxed hideaways that dot the area.
