Creating a home for your family is a primal desire, and Abby Summerton and Scott Inness have done just that with this luminous terrace renovation in Sydney’s inner south. As owners of building firm Kinn Construction, they did much of the project’s heavy lifting, metaphorically at least. It resulted in a light-filled home perfectly tailored to them and their daughter, Tigerlily, now three, as well as a unique terrace on four levels.
“When we first saw it in 2014, we loved the size and scale of the place, the fact that it needed fixing up, and that it was in a lovely street,” says confessed serial renovator Abby.
