Situated in Wandsworth Common, just south of the Thames, is a four-level house with a glamorous side hustle. While it’s mostly a residence for Australian expat Sommer Pyne and her family, the Victorian-splendour-meets-contemporary-sleek home is often hired out for shoots and workshops, the latter run by Sommer in collaboration with local artisans and lifestyle brands. But at Christmas, the fairy lights come out and the Pynes decorate any and every way they want. Sommer moved to England with her husband Will when she was 27 and had many years working in advertising before home-makeover TV shows inspired a major life change.
