The Scorchers won two in a row, and if last year’s trip-up on the triple-up proved anything, it’s how much of an achievement it was to even double-up. Failure might have been the reprieve they needed. Every team lifted its game against them last year and they start under the radar. They have impressive depth and breadth of talent.
