Best tip for customers when visiting a bookstore: Ask booksellers what their favorite books are at the moment - we love to help you! What I most love about bookstore customers? The relationships we build within and across our communities. What I love most about independently published books? Normally we’re supporting local authors and it helps connect our community and create conversations. Here at Buxton we are a busy event store so, we often do release parties and conversations with authors - we want to create conversations and bring people from across the spectrum of gender, sex, political party, race, etc. to discuss these books and topics presented by authors.
