VAN DIE REDAKTEUR

My grootste geskenk aan myself was my plekkie in Italië. Nie net omdat ek hier kan kom asemskep elke jaar nie, maar ook omdat hier soveel te leer is oor familie en samesyn. Verlede week het die hele dorpie gegons oor die komende festa op die plein. Die apteker se baba word gedoop en die hele dorpie is genooi om die oulike bambino te verwelkom. En was dit nou 'n partytjie! Die lang tafels was reggeskuif, die kos was baie en die wyn het gevloei terwyl hier 'n groepie gesing het en daar nog 'n klompie in 'n ketting om die tafels gedans het.
