CLEANING What’s the best way to wash artificial grass? Spraying down an artificial lawn with a hosepipe will remove dust, dirt, pollen and other airborne pollutants. If you don’t have a hose, mix a bucket of warm water with eco-friendly washing-up liquid or a detergent, making sure that it isn’t harmful to wildlife by checking the label first. Use a brush (never a metal one) to work the soapy liquid into the fibres of the artificial grass and let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse using a hosepipe or a few buckets of water and allow the grass to dry naturally. Stains from food or liquid are easy to clean. Remove the food and blot any liquid up using a paper towel.
