HIGHLIGHTS 1–2 March Duke of Beaufort, Didmarton, Glos DALAMOI proved that his win at Wadebridge in January was no fluke, when winning the mixed open here under Edward Vaughan for his father and trainer/owner, Tim Vaughan. This eight-year-old gelding by Pour Moi has run 15 times under Rules for Tim, but has more recently switched to pointing. “He’s going in the right direction now – he has always been a tricky horse to train, with some poor scopes coming to light, but he’s coming alive now,” said Tim, who could possibly aim this horse at the Aintree Foxhunters’. “My head girl, Lucinda Lingwood-Rix, has been riding him and building him up really gradually since we brought him in from his holiday last August.
