KARAKA DE THAIX (pictured) was an impressive winner of the 4&5yo maiden under jockey/trainer Dale Peters, for The Hunt & Peters Partnership at the Yorkshire Jockeys Club meeting at Charm Park, North Yorkshire. The five-year-old racecourse debutant, who is a son of Cokoriko and was purchased for £13,000 from the 2023 Goffs Spring Store Sale, took it up five out and went on to win by 2½ lengths. “He’s learning on the job, but as soon as I put him into the race, he got it done and put it to bed quickly,” said Dale. “I think he will be a lovely horse to go to war with – he’s got gears and will stay well.”…
