HIGHLIGHTS 8–22 February NCPA Cheshire, Kelsall Hill EC, Cheshire TEAM JINKS hit the top spot on the show ring debut of their new novice intermediate/small hunter, Delphinus (Ralph), partnered by Jack Owen to land the overall ridden title. The five-year-old part-bred Connemara – sired by Glencarrig Dolphin – was spotted by David Jinks and Adam Forster in a dealer’s yard in Cumbria this time last year. “Ralph was very much in the raw but had all the attributes they thought would allow him to succeed,” said Jack. “David said he was one of those horses that he couldn’t get out of his head until he went back and bought him. “He needed time to mature so was turned away last summer; he came back into work slowly this winter.
