THE subject of cloning is fascinating, if at times contentious, and this week Pippa Roome investigates the success story of Chilli Morning’s three clones – beautifully named Deuce, Tres and Quattro (p38). If the stars align, these three eventers will all be taking on the eight- and nine-year-old class at Blenheim this September with their respective riders Julia Krajewski, Alex Hua Tian and Gemma Stevens. Gemma backed all three as three-year-olds, and notes their similarities and differences.
