Fast & Furious On paper, the cars of the future seem impossibly perfect. Often all-electric, they’re safer than today’s vehicles and if you’re feeling tired, lots of them will even drive for you. But such perfection makes concept cars seem a little, shall we say, boring. Not so Lamborghini’s Terzo Millennio. Designed in collaboration with engineers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Terzo Millennio reassures revheads that the safer, eco-friendly cars of the future can be just as much fun as the petrol-driven ones of today. Rather than installing batteries, Lamborghini and MIT are working on pioneering technology that will enable the car to generate its own power through innovative panels in its bodywork. The Terzo Millennio will also be self-healing, with sensors in the car’s chassis directing “healing chemistries”…
