With the alarming rise in the cost of everything in our daily lives, it’s not surprising that homeowners are now looking for more ways to save on their build costs. When the cost of living and borrowing wasn’t so high, a lot of homeowners may have always bought new and never even considered buying secondhand items. I’ve always said, however, that there are some amazing deals out there on reclaimed and secondhand goods and materials. What’s more, buying secondhand doesn’t necessarily mean buying rubbish. You do, however, need to be careful and thoroughly check what you’re buying, just in case.
