What can I expect to be covered off in my first meeting with an architect? All architects’ practices are different, but we usually get initial information from email enquiries and suggest a zoom meeting, usually covering off points such as: ● What the homeowner would like to achieve and a rough idea of timescale ● The budget, if there is one ● Any estate agent information the client has from their purchase or any plans, surveys etc, relating to the property ● Any known constraints or concerns, such as whether the property is a listed building, etc ● It’s always nice to hear a little bit about the household, such as family, pets and hobbies ● An explanation of our process, with some examples and information on our fees.
