During many of my scrolls through social media in recent months, I’ve noticed a growing appreciation for slow renovating. Rather than people trying to race through a whole house renovation as quickly as possible, increasing numbers of homeowners seem happier to take their time, make more considered decisions and break up the work into more manageable phases. Perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised considering the current cost of living and price increases we’ve all experienced recently. Especially as doing the work in stages can make financing a project more feasible. There are many other benefits too, as we explore in our guide on page 64.
