If you have already appointed a main contractor or kitchen fitter for your project, then you have the option of going via the trade-only supplier route. Companies like Howdens, Benchmarx and Jewson Kitchens for example don’t sell their products directly to the consumer, but deal instead with trade professionals, who will place and receive the order and then agree a price with you. There are advantages to this route, namely that the product is sold at trade prices to your builder or tradesperson and that the order and specifications are handled by your appointed professional who then sets the end price and can pass on some of that discount to you.
