How do you feel connected to your self-build project when you’re trying to oversee the build from over 200 miles away? That’s the question that Martyn and Nicky Savage were faced with when they bought their dream coastal plot in Dartmouth, despite living and working in the West Midlands. The couple had been waiting for years for a plot that met their requirements to appear, scouring Plotfinder.net and assessing various sites, but nothing had ticked all the boxes.
