As a professional chef, Su placed the emphasis on size, layout and quality. Successfully incorporating these elements into a domestic residence, while keeping the appearance of a stylish family home, took careful planning and a lot of discussion. The kitchen had to include three ovens, four fridge-freezers and two separate sinks, without the space feeling industrial. “I was very particular,” says Su, who wanted many of the key elements in the kitchen to be commercial grade and extra large.
