Beats Solo 4 (HFC 518) made quite a splash when it launched recently, but the Apple-owned company quietly introduced its Solo Buds at the same time, adding a new set of compact earbuds to its range for the first time. The over-ear Solo 4 received largely positive reviews, but was criticised for its lack of noise cancelling features, despite having a fairly hefty £200 price tag. The Solo Buds share that limitation – not to mention quite a few others – but it’s hard to complain about the price.
