The units feature small, concealed, flush-fitting rubber bungs within the supports that carry the weight of shelves and any equipment that sits on them. These can be removed to allow the supports to be mass-loaded with inert acoustic material, for greater structural rigidity of the entire unit, while also greatly reducing any vibrations and resonances that might occur within the music system itself. Silicon isolation pads are also integrated between each shelf and into the base of the support structure in a bid to ensure that shelf absorption works at its most optimum, reducing resonances and vibration being carried through the shelves.
