A1936 Chevrolet Suburban as a Classic Car Profile? We look forward to your letters. But there’s no debating that we live in an age when the sport-utility vehicle (or crossover) is the American vehicle of choice. Lincoln and Buick, companies once known for building some of the world’s greatest luxury liners, no longer sell anything resembling a traditional sedan or coupe. Continental? Premiere? Roadmaster? Riviera? No, sorry, we don’t have any of those. But can we interest you in one of these high-riding, all-wheel drive, jelly-bean shaped thingies? Each and every one with four doors and a rear hatch?
