1936-’37 Cord 810-812 Westchester

It is one of the most recognizable cars ever built. The second iteration of the front-wheel-drive Cord automobile was a game-changing vehicle in many ways, and despite extremely low production and still fewer survivors, the 1936 810 and 1937 812 — particularly in demure Westchester sedan form — is reasonably priced when its outsized reputation is considered. The 800 series of company namesake E.L. Cord has fascinated the general public and car enthusiasts alike, primarily because of its groundbreaking Streamline Moderne styling by Gordon Buehrig.
