Deep Freeze Philosophy

Dead of winter? From where I’m sitting, it appears to have a lot of life left in it. This season always makes me think of the late poet Robert Frost, who is buried behind the Old First Church in Bennington, Vermont. You could almost throw a snowball there from Hemmings headquarters, provided: A) You had an arm slightly better than Tom Brady’s, and B) You somehow thought it was okay to throw snowballs at the final resting place of one of America’s most beloved literary figures. I only bring it up because I’ve always admired the way Robert Frost found quiet comfort and transcendent beauty in New England winters.
