Michaela Stolpes telefon ringer – någon behöver hennes stamceller. Senare får hon reda på att hon räddat en fyraårig flickas liv. – Det går inte att beskriva med ord, säger Michaela som nu fått träffa Selma.

Det var genom en annons på Facebook som Michaela Stolpe år 2019 bestämde sig för att bli donator av blodstamceller, berättar hon när vi ses i radhuset hemma i Borlänge. Maken Samuel jobbar på övervåningen, dottern Melissa är i skolan och lillasyster Agnes är hemma från förskolan med mamma, som hon alltid är på måndagar. – Det var ett slags kampanj av Tobiasregistret som visade hur smidigt det var att bli donator och jag kände att det var en viktig grej som jag behövde göra, säger Michaela som anmälde sig direkt. I det vanliga donationsregistret hade hon varit anmäld sedan långt tillbaka. Michaela berättar att det inte dröjde många dagar innan det kom hem ett tops-kit på posten.
