Färgstarka blad Kroton Codiaeum variegatum Här spelar de färgstarka bladen huvudrollen! Det finns flera sorters kroton och de kan vara två- eller flerfärgade i grönt, rött, crèmevitt, gult, orange och ha mönster i form av fläckar, skiftningar eller prickar. Ljus plats och mager jord ger bladen klarare färger. Skötsel: Känsliga för låga temperaturer och trivs inte under 18 grader. Vill stå ljust och ska inte placeras inne i rummet. Undvik uttorkning, regelbunden vattning är det bästa. Växten kan ibland få spinn, skölja då plantan underifrån med dusch eller med trädgårdsslang.
