‘STRICTLY’ HEAD JUDGE LEN GOODMAN BOWS OUT OF THE NATION’S FAVOURITE DANCE SHOW

Strictly Come Dancing head judge Len Goodman shocked fans last week when he revealed he is to step down after this year’s series. The 72-year-old has been on the BBC’s flagship Saturday evening show since it launched in 2004. “The adventure began when I was 60 and now that I’ve reached my 70s, I’ve decided it’s time to hand the role of head judge to someone else,” says Len. “I’m looking forward to my last series very much and whatever comes next.” Dancer Anton du Beke is an early favourite to take Len’s spot on the Strictly panel in 2017 alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli (above, with Len).
