‘After what felt like the coldest, darkest January ever, it was a joy to accept my invitation to the glamorous Vanity Fair EE Bafta Rising Star party. Forget leggings and hoodies: it was time for major sparkles in my embellished Clio Peppiatt dress as I prepared to meet the bright young things gathering at the Four Seasons Hotel on Park Lane’s Pavyllon London restaurant. This year marks the party’s 20th anniversary, and I was excited to meet some of 2025’s nominees, who were Back to Black’s Marisa Abela, Nabhaan Rizwaan from Kaos, Industry’s David Jonsson, Jharrel Jerome from Unstoppable and Mikey Madison, nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in Anora.
