Costume designer Molly Emma Rowe reveals the secrets of dressing Bridget Jones – and how she helped translate grief and new love to the screen

For costume designer Molly Emma Rowe, being asked to work on Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy was “incredible”. Her dream job was made all the more special by the film’s star and executive producer Renée Zellweger, who reprises her role as the much-loved title character in the franchise’s fourth and final film. “Renée is one of the most incredible artists I’ve ever worked with,” says Molly in our exclusive interview. “She’s so kind, funny, smart and engaged. I’ve never worked with anyone like her. “She’s so happy and fun – a really magical person. She talks to everyone and knows everyone.
