“So, what did you do during kidtime?” This topic often came up when I spoke of my childhood days and of course now when I do my parent-talk with my daughters with the… “when I was your age”… bit. I was not the most daring member of the family growing up but I always enjoyed the excitement of going fishing. With minimal knowledge of the “how-tos” of fishing but with the ever-present youthful enthusiasm, I was always ready for a new experience.
