Hilo Trollers August Tourney Results The Trollers were able to conduct their August monthly tournament on Sunday, the 14th. Fishing was a bit slow but it was a safe and successful tournament and a good time was had by all. Nine boats participated and ono were the name of the game. Ten qualifying ono were weighed in, but none of the mahimahi landed reached the qualifying minimum weight of 10 lbs. No ‘ahi or qualifying marlin were landed. Sadly, the weigh-in crew had to make the painful decision to disqualify the CARLA H’s nice marlin because of shark mutilation on the tail. No boat landed two different qualifying flag fish, so the grand champion award was not given. No ‘opala was weighed in, either. The largest ono and largest qualifying fish overall was…
