HÄUSER Was reizt Sie so daran, einen Teppich in nur vier Minuten zu zeichnen? BIRGIT KRAH Manchmal ist es hilfreich, sich im kreativen Prozess eine Beschränkung aufzuerlegen. Durch das Zeitlimit erlaubt man sich auch das Unperfekte, Verletzliche, und dadurch entsteht oft etwas Schönes. Wenn ich an einem Tag 30 dieser Vier-Minuten-Entwürfe gemacht habe, ist das beste Ergebnis interessanterweise eigentlich immer unter den ersten drei. Die Spontaneität führt in meinem Fall oft zum schönsten Ergebnis. Wie viel Zeit brauchten Sie, um aus den spontanen Zeichnungen die „Maze & Trace“-Kollektionen zu entwickeln? Das war ein längerer Prozess. Die Skizzen habe ich schon 2017 gemacht, und die beiden Kollektionen kam 2024 auf den Markt. Lange Zeit hingen die Zeichnungen an der Wand, und ich habe immer wieder überlegt, wie ich das produktionsseitig umsetze.…
