Griechenland statt Uckermark: Als der Berliner Architekt Sigurd Larsen für sich und seinen Mann ein Feriendomizil auf der Insel Kythnos bauen wollte, war er mit strengen Bauvorschriften konfrontiert. Heute ist er froh über die begrenzten Möglichkeiten, denn das Ergebnis ist eine klimagerechte, zeitgenössische Interpretation der traditionellen Kykladenarchitektur

Mit 130 Quadratmetern plus Terrassen und Garten zwar ein eher kleines Dorf – doch trotz begrenzter Fläche ist es dem Berliner Architekten gelungen, erstaunliche räumliche Vielfalt zu schaffen. Aufgeteilt auf vier miteinander verschränkte Kuben gibt es einen offenen Wohnraum mit Küche, drei Schlafzimmer, Bad und WC, durch innen und außen liegende Treppen und Gänge auf labyrinthisch wirkende Weise miteinander verbunden.
