It was a day of fun as kids embraced learning through movement at Stamford American International School’s workshop

Curious parents learned about how movement drives a pre-schooler’s emotional, intellectual and physical developments at Stamford American International School (SAIS)’s recent Open House event. At a workshop conducted by child development expert Gill Connell, who founded the Moving Smart programme, kids had a ball of a time playing balancing games that enhanced concentration, coordination and control. Giggles and wiggles filled the air as little ones spun around in giant red tops called Dizzy Giddies, and took turns playing other games. The workshop was held as part of SAIS’ monthly Open House events, which showcase its early years specialist programmes.
