The eclectic buzz of Tokyo was a huge draw for Marc Jacobs, which held its one-night-only Music Marc event in a dance club right smack in bustling Shibuya. Just mere minutes away from the famous Shibuya crossing is Contact Tokyo, the underground venue that captured the neon-powered energy of Marc Jacobs’ spring/summer 2017 collection perfectly. To get there, the city’s most stylish had to cut across a car park, then make their way down several flights of fluorescent-lit stairs. Once inside, they were bathed in the pink, blue and ultraviolet glow reminiscent of ’90s rave clubs. Under a light canopy, Japanese indie pop rock bands Zekkei Kujira and Kankaku Piero brought the house down with their catchy tunes, a high-energy synthesized beat that served as a reminder of why fashion…
