On November 25, Dijon will release her sophomore album, Black Girl Magic, which features collaborations with Channel Tres, Eve, and Luke Solomon. “It’s really about love and self-acceptance,” says Dijon, a fixture in the clubs of Berlin, where she’s based, who has helped soundtrack runway shows for Louis Vuitton and Dior. (She also has her own fashion brand under the Comme des Garçons umbrella.) In everything she does, Dijon seeks to pay homage to dance music’s birthplace in queer Black and Latin spaces.
