● Det var i augusti som det tragiska beskedet kom, att 71-årige Börje Salming hade drabbats av den obotliga nervsjukdomen ALS. Nu har sjukdomsförloppet kommit till den punkten att ishockeylegendaren inte längre kan prata. I Expressen berättar Börjes fru Pia Salming att de nu kommunicerar med hjälp av gester, kramar och en Ipad. – DET GÅR INTE att beskriva. Att se personen du älskar må så här dåligt… och du kan inte göra någonting. Det är en smärta varje dag att se hur dåligt Börje mår. Och den här frustrationen – vi har knappt om tid. Nu skickar popduon Lili & Susie sitt stöd till familjen. Systrarna Lili och Susie Päivärinta har i många år varit engagerade i att samla in pengar till ALS-forskningen.
