Dolly Partons make Carl Dean är död: ”Vi fick 60 underbara år tillsammans!”

● I över 60 år var Dolly Parton, 79, tillsammans med maken Carl Dean, som i början av mars somnade in vid 82 års ålder. Dolly var 18 och Carl 21 år när de träffades första gången. Hon hade flyttat från Pittman Center i Tennessee till delstatens musikhuvudstad Nashville samma dag som hon sprang in i Carl vid en tvättomat i den nya hemstaden. För 18-åriga Dolly var det ovant att bli mött med den nyfikenhet och respekt som Carl Dean visade henne, något som gjorde henne intresserad. – JAG VAR FÖRVÅNAD och glad att han såg mig i ansiktet när han pratade med mig, nåt som var ovanligt för mig.
