Muzzleloader HUNTING comprised the first gun hunting in the world. The old patch-and-round-ball was king of the deer woods, among other hunting endeavors. That tradition is carried on today in muzzleloader seasons throughout the country. According to some sources, about 3.5 million Americans still hunt with muzzleloaders.
