TEST RIFLES SABATTI SAPHIRE EXTENDED RANGE IN 6.5X55 SE The main feature of Saphire rifles – in all the variants offered by the Val Trompia-based company – is encapsulated in the action. Unlike traditional products, the action of the Sabatti Saphire is entirely made of 7075 aluminum. This design choice has made it possible to keep the overall weight of the rifle between 3,400 and 3,600 grams depending on the caliber and barrel length. The internal front section of the action, in the area in contact with the barrel, is not threaded but finished smooth to allow for the insertion of the barrel extension.
