Spanish manufacturer Bergara, particularly in recent years, has focused on hunting and sport shooting rifles that may not be revolutionary from a strictly mechanical point of view but are available in numerous configurations with distinctly modern features. These rifles are equipped with excellent barrels, which have always been Bergara's forte. The rifle I tested belongs to the B14 series, which draws inspiration from the Remington 700, and is distinguished by the adjective “Extreme”, indicating a rifle line different from all other offerings in the company's extensive catalog. The Extreme series further diversifies into four other types with different camouflage stocks, Cerakote finishes for the steel parts, and so on.
