De sa mère brésilienne, Franco Morbidelli a hérité de la peau mate et sait, ainsi, ce que c’est qu’être différent… Pour le Grand Prix de Misano, Aldo Drudi lui a dessiné un casque inspiré du film Do The Right Thing qui relate les tensions communautaires dans le Brooklyn des années 80. Franco y est représenté grimé en Mister Senõr Love Daddy, le DJ déglingué du film: « Je voulais envoyer un message d’égalité, dans différentes langues, parce que c’est l’une des choses les plus importantes. Nous sommes tous égaux, et le virus nous l’a rappelé. » Un message qui lui a porté chance puisqu’il a signé sa première victoire en MotoGP le lendemain.…
