Iannone en prend pour 4 ans

Le verdict de la Cour arbitrale du sport est tombé: Andrea Iannone est jugé coupable de dopage, et n’aura pas le droit de courir ces quatre prochaines saisons en GP, la sanction prenant effet rétroactivement le 17 décembre 2019. Autant dire qu’à 31 ans aujourd’hui, sa carrière en MotoGP est terminée. La réaction de son employeur Aprilia est d’ailleurs éloquente. Massimo Rivola, directeur du service course, qui jusqu’ici l’avait soutenu, s’est borné à déclarer: « Cette décision étant sans appel, il faut l’accepter et aller de l’avant. » C’est-à-dire lui trouver un successeur pour la saison 2021. Que reproche-t-on à Iannone? La présence dans son organisme de drostanolone, un stéroïde anabolisant, détecté à l’issue du GP de Sepang 2019.…
