Bryn “Bif” Kettle runs a farmlet in Yabberup, a rural community two hours southeast of Perth. Of the farm’s eight acres, two are given over to the vegetable garden. Called Biffo’s Farm, it features a roadside store that sells his own fresh produce as well as, say, spuds and avocados sourced from other local growers. A fitter and turner by trade, Bryn can seemingly turn his hand to anything. He does odd jobs as a mechanical fitter, works on a cattle stud part-time, does pump repairs and fencing and also works shifts at Greenbushes lithium mine.
