DECEMBER 2023 It’s the end of another year but a good time to plant those salad vegies that love the heat, including cherry tomatoes, as well as the wonderful summer cucurbits. New moon First quarter Full moon Last quarter When the moon is waxing from new moon to full moon, it is increasing light and drawing sap flow upwards. During the waning from full moon back to new moon, light decreases and sap is drawn downwards. This movement of sap flow has an influence on how well new plants will grow.
