My favourite dish is air fryer roast chicken. When I did it in the oven, I could never perfect it for some reason – it would always be a little bit rubbery and not quite right. I find that if I get a small corn-fed chicken, and stuff a garlicky, herby butter under the skin and rub it over the whole chicken, then air-fry it, I don’t know if it’s to do with the temperature or the circulation of air, but it is absolutely perfect. The skin is crisp, but the flesh is soft and it comes out beautifully. I grew up always loving a roast dinner. My husband is Jewish so I consider myself Jewish-ish.
