Call it luck. Call it kismet, maybe fate, but I was fortunate enough to be living in England in the early 1960s courtesy of the U.S. Government. On a day like any other day, March 19, 1963, I was working in a hospital and went about my duties as I always did. That evening, I drove 30 miles to Cambridge to attend a concert at the Regal Cinema. In those days there were always two concerts, usually one about 7 p.m. and another about 9 p.m. I arrived at the box office and purchased my ticket for the 9 o’clock show, and after purchase, the ticket manager told me that, if interested, I could go in to see the first show for free because there were only a few people…
