AN ADDLED Florida woman seeking another hit of fentanyl made a hash of things when she mistakenly texted a narcotics officer instead of her drug dealer, according to Florida cops.
The botched business deal exploded in the woman’s face when an affidavit reported that a Bay County Sheriff’s Office investigator received a string of texts from someone named “Octavia.”
In following up, cops arrested non-tech-savvy Octavia Wells, 41 — who apparently thought she was communicating with her pusher when she tapped out that she needed “just a couple points,” meaning a tenth of a gram of the opioid fentanyl, and that she was working with a budget of $45 to pay for the potent controlled substance.
Wells now faces criminal charges of unlawful use of a two-way communication device, possession of drug paraphernalia…
