SET-BUILDING SEA SALT & PAPER PANDASAURUS: $15 AGE RANGE: 8+ PLAY TIME: 30 MIN. PLAYERS: 2-4 Sometimes a simple game is elevated by a striking visual style and theme. Such is the case with Sea Salt & Paper, a set-building game with a few minor twists and beautiful artwork. The game is played with a single deck of 58 cards illustrated with nautical themes: ships, marine life, mermaids, and so on. All of these images are composed of photographed origami tableaus that give it a unique, quasi-three-dimensional feel. Cards are also grouped by 11 colors, with ColorADD symbols for the color-blind. Each card includes icons and numbers particular to various sets, placing a lot of information on every card without overwhelming the user or interfering with the visuals.
