At 8:44 a.m. on Sept. 22, autumn officially begins, though many anglers and hunters around the East enter full-on “fall mode” as soon as the calendar turns to September. As summer fades, suddenly there seems to be a lot more fish to catch, and a wide array of hunting opportunities are opening across the region, from deer and doves to upland birds and bass.
